Receptionist & North Campus Administrative Coordinator

This position plays a vital role in creating a warm and positive experience for everyone who calls or visits our North facility. From greeting guests with a smile, to keeping the office running smoothly behind the scenes, this role is perfect for someone who loves helping others and staying organized in a dynamic environment.
You’ll join a collaborative, supportive team and work closely with staff across many departments—always with the shared goal of making our community feel welcome and cared for.
- Be the first point of contact for callers and visitors—answering phones, directing inquiries, and sharing general information about church programs and events.
- Welcome and assist all guests at the Reception Desk with friendliness and professionalism.
- Keep mail, deliveries, and general correspondence organized and routed to the right people.
- Order and track office and program supplies to keep the campus stocked and running smoothly.
- Handle petty cash for the North facility and help with reporting to the Business Office.
- Support summer camp staff by managing credit card receipts through the church’s system.
- Coordinate copier/printing needs, including vendor communication when service is needed.
- Provide administrative support for projects and events assigned by the Director of North Administration.
- Attend Administrative Staff meetings and participate as a contributing team member.
- A warm, professional communicator with excellent customer service skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple priorities.
- A strong collaborator who can also work independently when needed.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced office with frequent interruptions (you roll with it gracefully).
- Skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint).
- Someone who maintains confidentiality, professionalism, and a positive presence.
- High school diploma (or equivalent) required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to work with people of all backgrounds.
- A willingness to jump in and support a variety of tasks and projects.
- Primarily office-based, with regular sitting, computer use, and phone work.
- Ability to move between sitting and standing, bend to file, and occasionally lift up to 15 pounds.
- Comfort using a headset or earpiece.
- Pay is commensurate with experience.
